PosNexa: AI POS System

Problem

Small and growing businesses often manage billing, inventory and sales records across separate tools or manual spreadsheets. That means slow checkout, missed stock updates and little insight into daily performance.

What we built

PosNexa is a desktop POS and billing app, built with Electron and designed to be driven from the keyboard, so cashiers can search, add items and take payment without reaching for the mouse. It keeps the cashier workflow simple while giving the business a stronger operational foundation. The billing screen offers product search, cart totals, tax calculation and payment choices, designed for everyday retail where speed and clarity at the counter matter.

Beyond checkout, the sidebar organises the key business modules: dashboard, POS billing, products, categories, inventory, customers, sales history, reports, users, settings and backup.

How it works

1. The cashier opens the POS and searches for products from the billing screen.
2. Selected products are added to the cart with price, quantity and line totals.
3. The system calculates subtotal, tax and the final amount payable.
4. The cashier selects a payment method: cash, card or other.
5. The sale is recorded for sales history, reports and inventory.
6. Managers review products, customers, inventory, sales history and reports from the dashboard.
